My store mainly operates through online business on various social media platforms and e-commerce sites. Previously, I was an office worker, but after realizing the job was no longer suitable, I decided to leave my office job last year and focus on business. At that time, I did many jobs simultaneously. In addition to online sales, I also did remote assistant work, helping businesses handle daily tasks. I also used to sell homemade cakes. I found that working from home allowed me more time to take care of my family and children. At this time, I want to focus on building and developing my online store.
When I first started my business, I experimented with the dropshipping model. With this model, I could sell products without having to invest in inventory. My task then was to find customers, and after that, the manufacturer would ship the goods directly to the customer's address. My profit at that time was the difference between the manufacturer's selling price and the price I quoted to the customer. However, after some time experimenting, I realized it was no longer suitable for me. I couldn't control the delivery time for customers. Shipping often took too many months, and my customers couldn't wait that long. Therefore, I am planning to source actual products, import them into a warehouse, have them ready on hand, and sell them online. This helps me to be proactive in the shipping process for customers.
